OpenAI has embedded Kalshi prediction market data into ChatGPT search results for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The update allows users to view calculated outcome probabilities for individual matches directly within the assistant interface.
When querying specific fixtures, the system displays market-derived win probabilities alongside standard search results. For example, a search regarding the France versus Spain fixture returns a 60% probability for a French victory, while the England versus Argentina matchup shows a 55% chance for England. Each data point carries a clear attribution note identifying Kalshi as the provider.
Scope and Market Context
The integration serves strictly an informational purpose and does not enable users to place bets through the ChatGPT interface. OpenAI confirmed that the feature currently applies only to 2026 World Cup inquiries. This marks the first collaboration between OpenAI and a prediction market platform.
Kalshi has previously expanded its data distribution through agreements with CNN and CNBC. Meanwhile, competitor Polymarket maintains partnerships with Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, while Google has incorporated data from both prediction platforms into Google Search and Google Finance.
